Conor McGregor smiles for the camera with Michael Schumacher’s son before the Monaco Grand Prix

Conor McGregor visited F1’s top team Haas on the eve of the Monaco Grand Prix – to declare his support for the team ahead of the glamorous event.

The Crumlin-born fighter star signaled Haas to be the first to cross the checkered flag as he threw his support behind them this weekend.

“We win here, baby! Number one here. Team Haas,” McGregor said as he posed for photos with riders, mechanics and team officials.

Haas drivers include Mick Schumacher, son of motor racing legend Michael, who posed for photos with McGregor with Kevin Magnussen.

The Dubliner also saw the operation of one of the team cars as he examined its interior.

He later shadowboxed viewers who shared the clips on social media.

McGregor is spending a long time in the south of France and arrived in the wealthy and glamorous French principality in time for the iconic Monaco Grand Prix, which takes place this weekend.

Footage of the Dubliner’s encounter with the squad has been shared on Haas’ social media.

“THIS GUY Conor McGregor is bringing the extra Quali vibes to the garage this afternoon!” They wrote.

It took place at the Martinez Hotel and the couple partied with a host of big names in the film industry, including Charlie Chaplin’s granddaughter Kiera Chaplin and model Adriana Lima.
