Nubia RedMagic 7 Series Gaming Smartphones Launching in China on February 17: Specs Expected

Nubia has confirmed the launch of its next flagship smartphone launch. The company will launch the RedMagic 7 series in China later this year. According to reports, at least two Nubia RedMagic 7 series gaming smartphones will debut in China. Both gaming phones will launch on February 17.

Some key details of upcoming RedMagic gaming smartphones have been leaked in the past. As expected, Nubia gaming phones will feature Qualcomm’s latest flagship chipset. There is currently no word on the launch outside of China. However, Nubia may launch its gaming smartphones in other markets later this year. Launch of Nubia RedMagic 7 series

Nubia is confirmed to launch RedMagic 7 series in China on February 17th. The company will launch the RedMagic 7 and a Pro model alongside. The launch invite doesn’t reveal much about the upcoming gaming smartphones. However, a lot about the devices have leaked, thanks to various certification websites.

Both devices will support 165W fast charging and are likely to pack a 4,500mAh battery under the hood. Global variants are designed to only support 65W fast charging in comparison. They will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. Nubia is expected to launch the devices in multiple storage options. The Pro model could come with up to 18GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

On the front, the devices are equipped with a 6.7-inch screen. The vanilla model is expected to feature a Full HD+ OLED display. We can expect the Pro model to come with a 2K display. Both devices will also support a 165Hz refresh rate.

On the back, the vanilla model features a triple-camera setup. It will have a 64MP main camera sensor. The camera module is also likely to feature an 8MP ultra-wide camera sensor and a 2MP macro/depth sensor. For selfies and streaming, the phone will have a 16MP front camera.

There will be some sort of thermal cooling mechanism that will keep the heat under control. Both devices will run Android 12 out of the box with a RedMagic UI layer on top.
