Suspected Vivo S12 Pro live image has surfaced online revealing dual selfie cameras

Vivo is preparing to launch a new S-series smartphone in China. The company will launch the S12 series, where it is expected to launch the S12 vanilla alongside a Pro model. Two Vivo smartphones with model numbers V2162A and V2163A have been spotted on TENAA’s website. These two devices are expected to be the Vivo S12 Pro and the Vanilla model. Vivo has yet to announce the official launch date for these devices. Meanwhile, another key detail of the S12 Pro has surfaced online. A live image of the alleged S12 Pro has been spotted in the wild, which reveals some key specs. Let’s take a look at the Vivo S12 Pro specs, live image, features, and other details.

Vivo S12 Pro live image, TENAA and 3C list

Vivo S12 Pro is probably the company’s top mid-range offering for the Chinese market. The live image of the device reveals that it has a large notch at the top of the screen. The notch is similar to what we saw on older iPhone and Pixel smartphones. However, the next Vivo smartphone in China has a dual front camera setup. One of the two front cameras has a 50MP main sensor. The second could be a portrait or an ultra-wide front camera. The live image further reveals that the device has a curved screen.

The device’s TENAA list doesn’t reveal much either. However, it was spotted on the 3C website (via GizmoChina), which confirmed its charging speed. The Vivo S12 Pro is likely to support 44W fast charging out of the box.

Other details of the device remain unknown at this time. These two Vivo smartphones will be released as an upgrade over the S10 series, which launched earlier this year. They feature a high refresh rate AMOLED display, Dimensity chip under the hood, and up to 108MP triple camera setup on the back. Vivo will likely make some minor changes and launch the S12 series as an incremental upgrade.
